Jackpot
Skat Rules
1. A Jackpot Skat game will be played on the first Sunday and the third Sunday of each month.
2.
To enter the Jackpot Skat you must pay an extra $2 over
the regular Skat game money. You do not have to play for the jackpot if you do
not wish to do so.
3.
Prior to playing, a single hole will be selected as the
Jackpot hole. This will be determined by drawing from numbered chips reflecting
holes number one through eighteen.
4.
To win the Jackpot Skat you must win the selected
Jackpot hole for that day.
5.
A push or tie does not win the Jackpot hole.
6.
If there is no winner on the Jackpot hole, the money is
carried over to the next Jackpot Skat day and the pot will grow accordingly.
7.
The pay out on the pot will be frozen when it reaches
$500. Each player will then continue to pay into the pot until it reaches $650.
The $150 over the $500 will go into the group’s general expense funds. Once the
amount of $650 has been reached no other money will be paid into the pot. The game will be played until it is won and
the $500 paid out to the winner.
8.
Once the amount of $650 has been paid into the pot no
other players will be allowed to enter the jackpot game until the pot has been
won by one of the existing player and the game started over.
9.
Everyone will play from the White Tees on the selected
jackpot hole
10.
Once the pot is won a new game will start and all rules
will apply again
11.
The Jackpot Skat game is for 1:30 group members only. You must have paid your group dues and be a
regular player with the group to enter the jackpot.
12.
Once a hole is selected as the jackpot hole it will be
removed from the selection on the next jackpot day if the pot hasn’t been won.
After the jackpot is won all holes will be placed into play again.
