Quail Crossing Men's League

GOOD LUCK at the Ryder Cup challange match next Saturday at Eagle Valley.

REMINDER! ALL ROUNDS MUST BE PLAYED WITH AND VERIFIED BY ANOTHER LEAGUE MEMBER (See INFO at left). SCORECARDS NOT MEETING THIS CRITERIA CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE COUNTED. IT IS IN EVERYONE'S BEST INTEREST IF WE ALL TRY TO ADHERE TO THESE RULES.

Beginning immediately, rounds may be played on Fri, Sat or Sun. If you play any two or three days, the Sat round is the one counted for MGA. You may not "PICK and CHOOSE" which round to turn in for score. Scorecards will be picked up at the end of each day

CLARIFICATION: THE WHITE STAKES DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT A BALL IS IN OR OUT OF BOUNDS. ANY OTHER WHITE LINES PLACED BY QUAIL CROSSING FOR ANY OF THEIR TOURNAMENTS OR QUALIFIERS ARE TO BE IGNORED SINCE THEY ARE ONLY SPECIFIC TO THOSE EVENTS.

REMINDER: Keep track of and TOTAL your putts when playing Saturday rounds. Also please include LAST NAMES on the scorecards.

FOR WEEKEND PLAY, PLEASE REGISTER ON THE WEEKEND SIGNUP SHEET POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARD BEFORE YOU PLAY YOUR ROUND. THIS WILL BE USED FOR CROSS REFERENCING SCORECARDS PLACED IN THE LEAGUE BOX.

Stableford Pts

Stableford scoring systems are stroke-play formats in which the high point total wins, not the low. That's because in Stableford, your final score is not your stroke total, but rather the total points you have earned for your scores on each individual hole.

Stableford is a form of stroke play and, with few exceptions, the rules for stroke play apply. Listed below are the points per hole being used this year.

Net double eagle 8 pts, Net eagle 5 points, Net Birdie 3 points, Net Par 1 points
Net Bogey 0 points, Net double -1, Net triple -2 point and net quad bogey -3 pts

Blind Teams --- Four-Ball Aggregate Stableford

Four-Ball Aggregate Stableford.
A team version of single stableford where all scores count on every hole. Each player must record a score on each hole and the scores of all players are added together for the total points each hole. The result for the round is then calculated and recording by adding the total point scores for each hole. The points scoring system is the same for a single stableford.

The highest point score wins the competition.

Two Man Alternate Shot

Teams alternate hitting the same ball. The first player tees off, the second player hits the second shot, the first player hits the third shot and so on until the ball is holed. Tee shots are alternated so that the same player doesn't hit every drive. Teams will be flighted. Low gross score determines team winners in each flight.

Tee-Adjustment Scramble

Teams play from white tees to Start, if you Birdie a hole you back up to Blue tees on next hole, if you birdie again back up to Gold tees on the next hole. If your team make a Par you stay on the set of tees until your team either Bidies or Bogeys. If you Bogey you move up a tee to next tee in front of you. ( Blue tee to white tees) .
All Tees come in to play .
One small twist.
You have to use every bodys tee shots....
"A" & "B" Players twice,
"C" & "D" Players once .
Other Tee shot Team Choice.

Blind-Holes Tournament

Blind-Holes Tournament
Rewards steady play — and those with a little luck. After all players have
left the first tee, a blind draw determines which nine holes of the 18 played
will count toward everyone’s total score — the other holes will be crossed
out — so the players have no knowledge of which holes will count until
they complete their rounds. One-half of Course Handicaps usually are used
to compile net totals.

Orange Ball Scramble

One player plays an Orange Ball Tee to Green , other three players play scramble .
"A" &" B" &" C" players play Orange Ball twice . "D" Players plays Orange ball once. Other two holes team choice.
Winner is team with lowest Orange ball plus white scramble score. Ties will be hardest handicap hole backwards. One stroke will be deducted for each orange ball returned.

Shamble

Like in a scramble, all members of a team tee off and the best ball of the four tee shots is selected. All players move their balls to the spot of the best ball. From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with all members playing thier own ball into the hole. The total of each players gross score is the team score for that hole.

3 Club Game

Each player can only take 3 clubs to the course. You can only use 3 clubs for this 9 Hole game. You must decide which three clubs you want to use for the whole 9 holes. Leave the rest of your clubs at home or in you ride.
The Game will be flighted "A" & "B" & "C" flights .

Ryder Cup Tournament

Two teams consisting of two man teams playing head to head. First six holes is a scramble, second six holes is alternate shot, third six holes is two man best ball. One point is available to be won for each format for a total of three points per foursome. The team scoring the most points wins. 'NUF SAID!!!!!
